Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.85 carats, and flanked by eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain setting with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.01 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring millegrain edging, a pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to a-symmetric shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
