Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set with one central rectangular step cut natural no heat sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, further set with thirty two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, further adorned with four calibre cut natural sapphires in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 2.80 carats, to a geometric openwork cluster design featuring a pierced bezel, fine millegrain edging and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid tapered square shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #80269-59.
