Set with a round old cut diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 4.27 carats in an open backclaw setting, flanked further by six round eight cutdiamonds in open back rubover settings, with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.51 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricate gallery and circular open backholing, leading to scalloped shoulders with millegrain borders and flowing smoothly through to a solid D-shapeshank. Testedwhite gold and platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #6247059516.
