Yellow Ceylon sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with one oval mixed cut natural no heat Yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 5.00 carats, flanked to either side with two marquise mixed cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.24 carats, further adorned by twenty-two round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.04 carats to an impressive cluster design with polished edges, a smooth gallery, and fancy shape open back holing, the broad integrated shoulders leading through to a solid flat shank with raised border detail. Marked 14 carat yellow gold, Italian, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5786-3055.
