Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a single oval old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by twelve round eight cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.36 carats, to a coronet cluster design, featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and decorative open backholing displaying a floral motif, leading to slightly sloping shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
