 Description

Drop shape old mine diamond ring. Set to centre with a drop shape old mine diamond, D colour, VVS2 clarity with a weight of 2.21 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.81 carats, to an elegant drop shape collet, intricately pierced with curving claws and shaped backholing, all set to an elegant pierced openwork gallery and a solid tapered shank, slightly raised emulating the diamond points on the shoulders. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by GIA report #5141954114.
