 Description

J.E. Caldwell sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set with a cushion shape cabochon natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, flanked by two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.06 carats, to a graduating design with smooth polished edges, fancy shaped backholing and broad integrated shoulders which lead through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, signed 'JEC CO' for J.E. Caldwell, American, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-0461.
