Description

Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to the centre with one octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, further set with two shield shape old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, to a striking three stone design with stylized claws, pierced geometric gallery and fancy shaped backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmologial Certification Services report #79205-72.
