Antique diamond crossover ring. Vertically set with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a total weight of 1.30 carats, separated by a diagonal single row of three round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings, and set to outward tapered opposing scrolled shoulders set with ten round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, all thirteen with a total weight of 0.30 carats. The combined approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an elegant elongated crossover form, with finely pierced collets, fancy shape backholing and flowing through to a slim D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1905.
