Yellow Ceylon sapphire and pearl ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape mixed cut natural unenhanced yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 6.60 carats, further decorated with six round pearls in open back half-drilled settings, to an ornate cluster design featuring decorative carved foliate detail, an initricate gallery, and floraform open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with cheniers, terminating in ridged detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct hallmarks, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-2747.
