Vintage Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape mixed cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.01 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to a flanked solitaire design with open linear gallery, pierced backholing and stepped shoulders which taper through to a slim D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1970, accommpanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #103867.
