Ruby and diamond ring. Set slightly raised to centre with a graduated horizontal row of nine round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.25 carats, flanked to top and bottom by two inward bowed rows of tapered baguette cut natural rubies in open back channel settings with rubover edging, all eighteen with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carat, to a heavy curving three row form with intricate square backholing, flowing down to a solid tapered flat shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker's mark for Meyer Koulish Company Inc., American, circa 1950.
