Ruby and diamond clip brooch, circa 1945. A rose, yellow and white gold brooch composed of two overlapping stylized florettes each set with one central round old cut diamond in a white gold claw setting, the two with an approximate total weight of 0.40 carats, encircled by ten round old cut unheated Burmeserubies in yellow gold claw settings with an approximate total weight of 2.50 carats, and with two white gold swags bordered on one side with ten round square step cut unheated Burmese rubies in rose goldchannel settings with an approximate total weight of 1.50 carats, the reverse mounted with a white gold double pin clip.
