Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.89 carats, further set with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant three stone design with finely pierced collets, circular backholing and inwardly tapering shoulders which continue through to a slim D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gem Research SwissLab (GRS) report #2016-120387.
