Piqué work gold and tortoiseshell ring. Set vertically with a bevelled rectangular bezel, the plaque inlaid with gold, finely depicting a heron holding a fish in its beak, the bevelled edges inlaid in gold with a Greek key design, flanked by raised shoulders to a square tortoiseshell shank. Tested tortoiseshell and yellow gold, English, circa 1880.
