Vintage ruby and diamond ring by Oscar Heyman Brothers. Set with a central horizontal channel set row of thirteen natural unenhanced rectangular tapered baguette cut rubies in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.80 carats, flanked by two graduated horizontal rows of round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, twenty two in total with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegant stepped three row conforming half band with scalloped edging, pierced gallery and intricate backholing, leading to a solid tapered stepped shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, numbered '36175', American, circa 1970.
