Art Deco diamond and onyx coronet cluster ring. A round old cut diamond is set to centre in an open back rubover setting mounted in an oval concave onyx, surrounded by a single row of sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, all seventeen diamonds with an approximate weight of 1.00 carat, to a scalloped cluster with pierced decorative gallery and supportive shoulders with scrolling cheniers, leading to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920.
