Fancy yellow diamond solitaire ring. Centrally set with a round old cut natural fancy yellow diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked by six round brilliant cut diamonds in closed back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.96 carats, to an elegant solitaire featuring corner claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy backholing, the slightly raised shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4417.
