Edwardian ruby and diamond ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Siam rubies in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.80 carats, further set with four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.12 carats, all to a three stone design featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery with chenier detailing and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, tested platinum, marked 'S' and 'C', circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-1542.
