 Description

Cartier emerald-cut diamond ring. Set with an impressive rectangular emerald-cut diamond, I colour, VVS2 clarity, with a weight of 4.68 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.08 carats, to a striking flanked solitaire design with corner claws, a geometric openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a slightly tapering solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, signed 'Cartier', numbered '02203', French, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6234221266, accompanied by original fitted box.
