A matching pair of earrings, each set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting, two in total with an approximate combined weight of 2.03 carats, each surrounded by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings, twenty in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, set to top with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a closed back claw setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.10 carats, to an elegant articulated coronet cluster design flowing with movement, featuring curving claws, intricately pierced galleries and fancy open and closed backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly. Tested platinum and rose gold, butterflies tested yellow gold, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81288-85.
