 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back split claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back split claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to a graduating three stone design with an intricately pierced gallery, open backholing and cheniers to the inwardly tapering shoulders and leading to a slim D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1940, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab (GRS) report #GRS2015-122599.
