Description

Art Deco rose cut diamond ring. Set with an oval rose cut diamond to centre in an open back rubover gypsy setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, further set with fourteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.45 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.65 carats, to a bold cocktail design featuring millegrain borders, a linear pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by tapered stepped shoulders leading to a solid D-shape shank. Tested white gold with platinum settings, circa 1935.
