Antique sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, encircled by a single row of ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.40 carats, to an elegant flora form with subtle millegrain decoration, polished edging, intricately pierced raised gallery and finely shaped backholing, flanked by open shoulders supported by chenier details which smooth to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
