 Description

Edwardian Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a drop shape old cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and no clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.08 carats, encircled by a single row of nineteen round old cut diamonds in open back cut-down settings with an approximate total weight of 0.90 carats, to a drop shape cluster design featuring polished edges, a pierced scalloped gallery and open backholing, leading to split shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a ribbed D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #07545 and Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #113523.
