Antique diamond three stone ring. Set with one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw and rubover setting with a weight of 1.05 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.35 carats, to a three stone design with a pierced scrolling gallery, shaped backholing and smoothly integrated ornate openwork shoulders which lead through to a grooved shallow D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, indistinct maker's mark, circa 1900.
