Victorian five stone ring. Set to centre with a shape unenhanced sapphire in an and setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 , further set with four cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back claw and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats, and decorated further with ten round in and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 2.40 carats, to a graduating five stone design featuring stylised claws, an ornately carved with scrolling motifs and open and closed backholing, leading to carved and flowing through to a solid . yellow , 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-1420.
