Set with a round unenhanced ruby in an yellow setting with a weight of 0.40 , a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.35 carats, flanked by three rows of round in and rubover settings, all fourteen with a combined weight of 0.25 carats, and two rows of set natural unenhanced square cut in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carats, and the total approximate ruby weight is 0.55 carats, to a heavy curving yellow gold sculpted form with piercing work and intricate square backholing, with tapered to a solid flat . 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, French, 1940.
