An ornate ring featuring a concentric of red resin with green resin to centre, polished edges and closed backholing, leading to decorative grooved and flowing through to a finely crafted solid composed of six raised rectangular panels with saltires alternating with a ribbed pattern. yellow gold, approximately 8.2g in weight, 3rd century AD, accompanied by an Oxford Labs X-ray report stating the composition of the metal.

This ring is very unusual in design, in excellent condition and a fine example of Ancient Roman craftsmanship.
