Yellow Ceylonsapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cutnatural no heat yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 2.80 carats, encircled by a row of eighteen round eight cutdiamonds in open back claw settings with a total approximate weight of 0.72 carats to an architectural coronet cluster featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting split shoulders which join and flow through to a solid flat shank with ridged detail. Marked 14 carat white gold, indistinct makers mark, mid 20th Century, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5787-0185.
