Victorian Diamond Three stone ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back claw and grain setting with an approximate weight of 1.45 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in an open back claw and grain setting with an approximate total weight of 1.67 carats, adorned by six rose cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.05 carats. The total combined approximate diamond weight is 3.17 carats, to a carved three stone design featuring an ornate carved gallery with a scrolling motifs, open backholing and integrated carved shoulders leading to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1890.
