Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape emerald-cut natural Colombian Muzo emerald with minor oil in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by a spray of ten channel set rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, and decorated with twenty round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.90 carats, to a cushion shape cluster featuring curving claws, an elegant scrolling pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by trumpeting openwork shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied SSEF report 121443.
