Burmese ruby and diamond earrings. A matching pair, set to centre with one round old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back grain setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.40 carats, each encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings, twenty in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, to an elegant pair of cluster stud earrings featuring curing claws, intricately pierced galleries and fancy open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, English, late 19th Century, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-917, and antique box.
