Edwardian diamond drop earrings. A matching pair each set to bottom with a cushion shape old mine diamond, one I colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 0.87 carats, the other J colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 0.98 carats, both in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.85 carats, set to top with a round old cut diamond in a closed back rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.35 carats, further decorated with five cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover settings, ten in total with a combined weight of 0.28 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.48 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring flowing with movement featuring millegrain borders, an intricately pierced gallery and open and closed backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied with Gemological Institute of America reports #6223970230 and #5222970272.
