 Description

Edwardian Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.01 carats, further adorned by twenty four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the raised shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab (GRS) report #GRS2019-111666.
