 Description

Old cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 1.84 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.96 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving split claws and polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery, and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders, and flowing through to a solid flat shank with ridged detail. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2231085920.
