 Description

Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.40 carats, surrounded by a single row of twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by tri-part scrolling shoulders which taper down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #113522.
