Dormeuse diamond earrings. A matching pair of earrings, each set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back raised claw illusion setting, the two with a combined weight of 1.20 carats, further set with a round rose cut diamond in an open back claw setting, the two with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.24 carats, to a pendant drop earring, with pierced collets, open backholing and fitted to reverse with a secure hook and hinged back closure, approximately 1.5cm in length to top of hook. Tested rose gold with platinum settings, French, circa 1900.
