Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, further set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a five stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders with carved detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, partial hallmarks for Birmingham, English, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-671.
