 Description

Art Deco sapphire and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a square step-cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.06 carats, to a geometric solitaire design featuring angular corner claws, a decoratively pierced gallery with a diamond motif, and square open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail, and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-3403.
