Victorian three stone diamond ring by S. Blackensee & Son. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backgrain setting with an approximate weight of 0.15 carats, further set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.35 carats, to a graduating three stone design featuring engraved starburst design, polished edges and round open backholing, flanked by trumpeting smooth shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering flat shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full hallmark's for Birmingham, maker's mark 'S B & S' for S. Blackensee & Son, English, circa 1879.
