Description

Art Deco ruby and diamond ring. Horizontally set with four rectangular baguette cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back channel settings and further set with one square step cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back rubover setting, five in total with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, further decorated with fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back bead settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.40 carats, to a heavy asymmetric buckle design featuring millegrain details, polished borders and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a tapered flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
