 Description

Old mine diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, F colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 2.01 carats, in an open back claw setting, encircled by eighteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.46 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving double claws and millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) #6422622637.
