Medieval garnetgold ring. Set with a rectangular faceted garnet in a closed backrubover setting, to a scalloped quatrefoilbezel, the smoothly integrated shoulders leading through to a slim tapering solid rounded shank. Tested yellow gold, approximately 2.4g in weight, circa 13th-15th century.
