Edwardian Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting, with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, further enhanced with forty four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.50 carats, all to an elegant octagonal cluster design featuring polished borders, a decoratively pierced gallery with scrolling motifs, and open backholing, leading to solid shoulders and flowing through to a tapering D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report # 80262-90.
