Set to centre with a round old cutdiamond in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, surrounded by a single row of eight round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.54 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the tri-split shoulders flowing down to a solid D-shapeshank. Testedplatinum, circa 1910.
