Set to center is a round old cut diamond in open backrubover settings with an approximate weight of 0.20 carats, encircled by eight round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, bordered further by four round eight cut diamonds in rubover setings with a combined approximate weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.50 carats, to a stylised floral design with a quatrefoil shape step down border, polished edges and pierced open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders tapering to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, engraved 'D.G. D.A. 34.3.12.39', circa 1945.
