Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a round old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, encircled by eight round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, to an elegant circular cluster with polished edges, an ornate openwork gallery and intricate open backholing, flanked by inward tapered shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by certification from Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-4125.
