 Description

Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural and unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.14 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to a graduating three stone design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab report #GRS2015-122607.
