Belle Époque pink tourmaline and diamond ring. Set to top and bottom with two round old cut natural unenhanced pink tourmaline in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.35 carats, decorated throughout with thirty two round single cut diamonds in open back grain, rubover and millegrain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an elegant vertical cluster featuring fine openwork to centre which is terminated to top and bottom with finely pierced collets with intricately pierced backholing to reverse, flanked by diamond set shoulders with engraved beaded details which smooth to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1900.
